Services
Plastering & wall prep
Patch repairs, skim coats and plasterboard stopping, so walls are smooth and ready for paint or paper.
Paint and wallpaper only look as good as the wall underneath. Mike strips walls back and gets them ready, so the finish goes on clean.
What’s involved
- Stripping old wallpaper
- Patch repairs
- Skim coating
- Plasterboard stopping
- Getting the surface smooth for paint or paper
Then the finish
Once the walls are ready, Mike can carry on with the painting or wallpapering, so the room goes from bare wall to finished as one job.

Questions
Plastering & wall prep: good to know
Do my walls need prep before painting or papering?
Usually, yes. Old paper, holes and patchy surfaces show through a new finish. Mike will look at your walls when he comes out to quote.
